Captain Shawn offers charters in Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Figure Eight Island and Topsail Beach.

Fishing charters are also offered in the middle Cape Fear River, upper Cape Fear River, and Northeast Cape Fear River.

Our trips are customized for the needs of our clients and promote a very family friendly atmosphere on our charters. The Fine Line is a 218 Carolina Skiff that offers the versatility of fishing nearshore wrecks, but also the grass lines and flats of inshore waters. With the diverse geography in southeastern NC wrecks, ledges, inlets, jettys, oyster beds, docks and mud flats are all within reach to make for excellent fishing. Nearshore fishing offers a mix of exciting trolling and bottom fishing opportunities close to the coast. Trolling nearshore can produce fast action with spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia, bluefish, and atlantic bonito, while bottom fishing may yield grey trout, snapper, seabass, grouper, sheephead, large ocean flounder, and bull redfish.

Inshore fishing can produce redfish, flounder, black drum, sheephead and speckled trout. This is just a quick summary of what we catch, but rest assure there are many other species that I have not listed that will make for exciting fishing with Captain Shawn.
